Patents

The patents provide a proprietary approach for the development and implementation of a portable and expandable process for economic carbon sequestration.

  • Original Patent: US9,617,831 B2 “System and Method for Identifying and Producing Unconventional Minerals from Geologic Formations” April 17, 2017
  • Second Patent: US10,378,315 B2 “System and Method for Identifying and Producing Unconventional Minerals from Geologic Formations” 13, 2019
  • Third Patent: “Methods for processing LiquidOre™ Brine” US Patent Pending, filed May 19, 2020
  • Fourth Patent: “Apparatus and method for engineered geothermal system in-situ conformance improvement treatment using brines infused with CO2.” Filed August 12, 2021

The first two US Patents defined what LiquidOre™ Brine is, where it can be found, how it is processed, and how it is produced and extracted.  Several important critical and strategic minerals, currently sourced from foreign countries like China, are present in brines sourced from methods described in our Patents. Two important sources of LiquidOre™ Brine include certain industrial waste streams such as produced waters from oil and gas production operations and geothermal power stations.

Trademarks

  • LiquidOre™ Brine – This trademark describes the use of LiquidOre™ Brine for carbon sequestration, in addition to conventional use as a premium road deicer and dust-control product.

  • THE GREENMILE™ Roadbase – This trademark describes precipitated calcium and magnesium alkaline earth carbonates that can be used as an environmentally friendly alternative to mined and crushed limestone for road construction.

  • THE GREEN PLANET™ INSULATION – This trademark describes building insulation panels constructed using PCC created through the use of our proprietary CCUS technology.
